YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO CHANGE YOUR NARRATIVE

Have you ever felt stuck in a story you didn’t want to be in? I know I have. I can tell you there have been times in my life in which I felt as if something that happened to me or something I was going through had stolen the pen to the story of my life and was the thing in control of my future. I don’t believe I am alone in feeling this way. In fact, I know I am not.

CHANGE YOUR NARRATIVE

Change your narrative began as a conversation. As a youth worker for fifteen years, I frequently met with students about their struggles. A few years ago, two young women shared with me about a specific case of abuse. After several hours of counsel, I wrapped the talk by sharing how I believed in them. I remember telling them, “You have what it takes to change your narrative, you do not have to continue the story someone else wrote into your life. You have the power to walk the long journey of hope and find the restoration you deserve. Victim is not your nametag.”

HERE ARE THE TOOLS TO HELP YOU DO IT

When we feel overwhelmed or are asking, "What do I do?" about the tough spots in our life, we often are looking for inspiration. Change your narrative - the book - offers just that. But, inspiration alone is not enough. Instead, inspiration fuels us towards action steps. Thus, "I'm changing it" is the next step in your journey.

STEP 2 - I'M CHANGING IT

Now that we have identified the path to wholeness with change your narrative - the book - let's learn how to process your story. No matter the topic you seek to shift, "i'm changing it" is our universal processing tool to help you learn how to write a new story through 20 actionable steps. Through interactive video-led discussions, exercises, and processing questions, we want to parter with you so you can say, "i'm changing it." and know what the journey looks like.

EVERYONE FACES DIFFERENT STRUGGLES

While I can not identify personally with each of the topics of discussion we rally behind within change your narrative, I have spent a significant amount of time with those who represent them and know the power of directional guidance which specifically deals with the issues of abuse, addiction, anxiety, bullying, depression, image matters, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. 

 

With that goal in mind, I have taken the original Change Your Narrative book and altered it so it addresses the needs of you may have as you look for a way to process a specific issue.

I know I have. The individual you care for deserves to be free of any past or present pain which holds them back or makes them feel stuck – and I would count it an honor to guide you and them through steps to process through it.
